The clip, released Tuesday, chronicles the ups and downs of a loving relationship that eventually comes to a dramatic end.

Jonas and Mustard are featured in the music video performing in front of a giant video screen that is located in the wilderness.

"You could be anywhere right now/ It ain't hard to see/ I'll be your light/ If you say the words for me," Jonas sings in the chorus.

"Anywhere" is Jonas' first new single of 2018. The singer released two songs in 2017 including "Find You" and "Remember I Told You" along with "Bom Bidi Bom" that also featured Nicki Minaj for the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack.

Jonas' last album was 2016's Last Year Was Complicated.

"Collaborating with Mustard was amazing," Jonas said recently of working with the producer during an interview with Billboard. "I think it's exciting to step into this EDM side of things, and to have this collaboration as a first step out this year. I want to make music that people want to have a good time to. When people come to the show, for them to be able to dance and express themselves is kind of the greatest thing... it's nice to be able to create music that gives people that opportunity, and I think this song encourages them."
