Rom-com with Kristen Stewart, Mackenzie Davis to open in U.S. on Nov. 20, 2020

May 15 (UPI) -- TriStar Pictures said Wednesday it plans to release its holiday movie Happiest Season on Nov. 20, 2020.

eOne, which is co-financing the film, will distribute it in the United Kingdom and Canada.

Veep actress Clea DuVall is directing the romantic comedy, which will star Twilight icon Kristen Stewart and Halt and Catch Fire actress Mackenzie Davis.

Happiest Season is about what happens when a young woman plans to propose to her girlfriend, but discovers she hasn't come out yet to her conservative parents.

The project was first announced in January.
