"Childhood sweethearts have a falling out and don't speak for 15 years," a synopsis said. "They reconnect as adults when Sasha, now a celebrity chef opening a restaurant in San Francisco, runs into Marcus, a happily struggling musician still living at home working for his dad. The old sparks are still there but can they adapt to each other's world?"

Wong and Park co-wrote the film with Michael Golamco.

Meanwhile, Reeves will soon start work on the hitman drama John Wick 3. He also is preparing to headline a third movie in the Bill & Ted franchise.

Wong is known for her standup work in Baby Cobra and Hard Knock Wife.

Randall Park's credits include Veep and Fresh Off the Boat.
