May 26 (UPI) -- Clueless actress Alicia Silverstone has filed for divorce from Chris Jarecki, her husband of 13 years.
Silverstone announced about three months ago that they had split up.
"They still deeply love and respect each other and remain very close friends but have mutually decided to separate after being together for 20 years. They have a son together who they will continue to co-parent," Silverstone's representative said in a statement in March.
The divorce documents Silverstone filed Friday list the date of their separation as March 15, 2016.
Irreconcilable differences was given as the reason for ending her 20-year romance with Jarecki.
She requested joint physical and legal custody of their 7-year-old son Bear Blu.
