June 20 (UPI) -- The Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman, returned from injury on Raw Monday to attack Roman Reigns, his rival who put him out of commission.

Strowman made his grand entrance from the back of an ambulance as Reigns was battling Samoa Joe in a hard-hitting and highly-competitive match. The towering giant's arrival was enough of a distraction for Joe to lock in the Coquina Clutch on Reigns which put The Big Dog right to sleep for the victory.

The match had taken place after Reigns announced during the opening of Raw that he will be facing the Universal Champion at SummerSlam. Currently, Joe is set to face current champ Brock Lesnar for the title at Great Balls of Fire on July 9.

Following the match, Strowman entered the ring in order to violently slam down Reigns who was still recovering from the Coquina Clutch. Strowman then challenged Reigns to an Ambulance Match at Great Balls of Fire.

Strowman had injured his shoulder and shattered his elbow in May and was expected to be out up to six months after undergoing surgery.

Also on Raw, the tag team of Enzo Amore and Big Cass came to an end after it was revealed that Cass himself had secretly attacked Amore weeks ago from behind. Announcer Corey Graves also unveiled footage that Cass faked being attacked recently in order to cover up his tracks.

The revelation was enough to bring tears to Amore's eyes as he listened to Cass own up to the attack and call his tag team partner "dead weight" that had prevented him from becoming a champion in the WWE.

Cass then took Amore down with a boot to the face as Raw general manager Kurt Angle looked on in shock. Amore and Cass first became a tag team in 2013 while in NXT. Despite their popularity, the team known for their entrance and catchphrases was never able to become Tag Team Champions.

Other moments from Raw included The Hardy Boyz defeating Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Finn Balor defeating Bo Dallas, Bray Wyatt confronting Seth Rollins as he spoke about getting on the cover of video game WWE 2K18, Akira Tozawa defeating TJP, Intercontinental Champion The Miz and his new entourage of Dallas and Curtis Axel beating down Dean Ambrose who had crashed a special edition of Miz TV featuring Maryse, Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Sheamus defeating Apollo Crews and Titus O'Neil and Nia Jax defeating Sasha Banks via disqualification.
