Jan. 23 (UPI) -- Someone in Michigan won the Mega Millions jackpot of $1 billion in Friday's drawing -- the second-largest prize in the game's history.

The winner matched all five numbers -- 4, 26, 42, 50 and 60 -- plus Mega Ball 24.

If the winner chooses the lump-sum option for the payout, they'll take home an estimated $739.6 million.

It's the second-largest Mega Millions prize in history and third-largest lottery prize overall. A single ticket won a $1.54 billion Mega Millions jackpot in 2018 and three people split the largest lottery jackpot in history -- $1.59 billion -- sold by Powerball.

With the win, the Mega Millions jackpot resets to $20 million. The next drawing is Tuesday.

The next Powerball draw date is Saturday, with an estimated $20 million jackpot.
