Sept. 8 (UPI) -- President Donald Trump is scheduled to discuss the destruction caused by Hurricane Irma during his fourth full Cabinet meeting this weekend at Camp David, the White House said Friday.

The president and first lady Melania Trump invited each member of the Cabinet and their spouses to the retreat. The first couple left the White House on Friday afternoon for Camp David.

"President Trump will hold his fourth Cabinet meeting on Saturday and will lead discussion on the administration's priorities in addition to receiving briefings on Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts and preparations for Hurricane Irma," the White House said.

President Trump has declared federal emergencies for Florida, Georgia and South Carolina ahead of Hurricane Irma, which is expected to make landfall near Miami early Sunday. The storm is expected to cross the Florida-Georgia border late Monday or early Tuesday.

On Wednesday, the president sided with congressional Democrats on a move to tie a temporary debt-ceiling increase to disaster funding for Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. The House approved a $15.3 billion hurricane disaster aid package Friday morning.
