July 19 (UPI) -- Donald Trump Jr., former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and White House adviser Jared Kushner are scheduled to testify before the Senate about alleged Russian election meddling next week. Trump Jr. and Manafort are scheduled to testify in an open hearing July 26 about Russia's alleged meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and the Foreign Agents Registration Act. The Senate Judiciary Committee hearing was originally scheduled for Wednesday.

Earlier next week, on Monday, Trump's son-in-law, Kushner, has agreed to appear before the Senate Intelligence Committee in a closed-door session, his lawyer said.
"As Mr. Kushner has been saying since March, he has been and is prepared to voluntarily cooperate and provide whatever information he has on the investigations to Congress," lawyer Abbe Lowell told ABC News. "Working with and being responsive to the schedules of the committees, we have arranged Mr. Kushner's interview with the senate for July 24. He will continue to cooperate and appreciates the opportunity to assist in putting this matter to rest."
All three men attended a meeting in June 2016 that has become a flashpoint for allegations the Trump campaign colluded with Russia in an attempt to sway the presidential election. They met with Natalia Veselnitskaya, who was described to Trump Jr. as a "Russian government lawyer" who had potentially incriminating information about Trump rival Hillary Clinton.
The House, Senate and FBI -- led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller -- are each conducting investigations into Russia and the hacking of computers belonging to members of the Democratic National Committee during the 2016 election season.
