April 19 (UPI) -- Two people died in the crash of a single-engine private plane in East Windsor, Conn., police said.
The Luscombe 8A plane crashed at the end of a runway as it took off Tuesday afternoon from the privately owned Skylark Airport in East Windsor. It was found in a wooded area on private property, and narrowly missed striking homes in the area. The plane was largely intact when it was found, with its nose down and tail up, and authorities said they were able to identify the plane's registration.
