WASHINGTON, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- President Obama attends two events Friday to discuss efforts to get long-term unemployed people back to work, the White House said.
The daily schedule indicated Obama will:

-- Receive, with Vice President Joe Biden, the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office.
-- Meet, with Biden, a group of chief executive officers and other leaders about supporting the best practices for hiring the long-term unemployed.
-- Conduct an event to outline new efforts to help the long-term unemployed. Biden will attend.
-- Take a virtual road trip across the country via Google+ Hangouts to discuss issues and policies, with people joining from around the United States.
