WASHINGTON, June 19 (UPI) -- Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney Tuesday denied a report that Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., was not being vetted to be his running mate.
ABC News reported GOP officials said Rubio had not been asked to complete questionnaires or turn over financial documents usually sought from potential vice presidential candidates. Romney told reporters in Holland, Mich., Rubio "is being thoroughly vetted as part of our process," The Washington Post reported.
