Obama got 45 percent of the vote to Romney's 39 percent in Ohio.

In Florida, Obama took 45 percent of the vote to Romney's 43 percent. The gap tightened to 45-44 percent when voters were asked if having Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., on the Romney ticket would influence their opinions.

The polling involved 606 registered voters in Ohio and 757 in Florida. The margin of error for both surveys was plus-minus 4 percentage points.

Fox News said the polling was done Sunday and Monday.
