COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 28 (UPI) -- An Ohio man who used a gun to try to force his girlfriend to end her pregnancy pleaded guilty Thursday to attempted murder and kidnapping.
Dominic Holt-Reid faces as much as 20 years in prison, The Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch reported.

Holt-Reid was arrested in October in the parking lot of a Columbus abortion clinic. Police said he had a .45-caliber handgun in his waistband.
His girlfriend, Yolanda Burgess, told police she informed Holt-Reid she did not want to get an abortion and was not going to the clinic where she had an appointment scheduled. She said he pulled the gun and forced her to drive to the clinic.
She handed clinic staffers a note telling them she was under duress and they called police.
