Scrooge McDuck lithograph stolen in Oslo

OSLO, Norway, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- There's been another art theft in Oslo, this one a lithograph showing Scrooge McDuck in his vault full of money.

The illustration signed by Disney cartoonist Carl Barks was part of an exhibit at an Oslo library on the artist's career. The newspaper Dagbladet reports that the picture disappeared in late afternoon Thursday.

Norwegians are among the world's biggest fans of Walt Disney's classic characters, especially Donald Duck and his relatives.

The lithograph, one of a limited edition of 100 signed by the artist, is valued at between 10,000 and 15,000 kroner or $1,500 to $2,250.

In August, thieves stole two Edvard Munch paintings from Oslo's Munch museum.
