June 15 (UPI) -- The Therapist: Katy Perry, a one-hour, television special focused on the pop music star, is to air Monday on Viceland.

"During the emotional and raw extended episode, Perry opens up to Dr. Siri about the struggles that arise from the split between her public persona and her private self," a press release said.

The Therapist is a docu-series about Los Angeles analyst Dr. Siri Sat Nam Singh. Other celebrity patients to appear on this season of the show include Freddie Gibbs, Waka Flocka Flame, Young M.A., Dej Loaf, D.R.A.M., O.T. Genasis, Joey Bada$$, Corey Taylor, Nathan Williams and Damien Abraham.

Perry, 32, released her latest album Witness this week. While on the trail to promote it, she talked about being ready to "let it go" regarding her reported feud with fellow pop star Taylor Swift.

She also recently performed at Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester benefit concert in England. The show raised money for the victims and survivors of a suicide bombing at Grande's concert in Manchester last month.
