Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman has played on the NFL's grandest stage.

On Monday night, Norman will compete in a triple-elimination round of "Dancing with the Stars."

Two distinctly different events to be certain, but the former Pro Bowl selection used some fancy footwork to link the two by citing the pressure to perform in front of a vast audience.

"It is the Super Bowl," the 30-year-old Norman said, via ESPN. "It's just a different type of pressure because your heart will be racing, man, with anxiety. You get out there and put it all out there on the dance floor in front of millions of people watching. Then you've got a couple of hundred people in the audience that is extremely looking at every moment.

"You want to make sure every line that you learned in practice with your partner [Sharna Burgess], you do not want to screw it up, no matter what."

Norman and the Carolina Panthers came up short in Super Bowl 50, dropping a 24-10 decision to Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.
