May 8 (UPI) -- New England Patriots star Tom Brady and supermodel wife Giselle Bundchen showed off their latest lush threads at the 2018 Met Gala.

The duo took the red carpet Monday night at Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Brady, 40, sported a black sport coat with gold leafing up the lapels, while Bundchen, 37, was clad in a flowing long-sleeve gold Versace gown. Giselle detailed her "eco dress" on her Instagram account, saying the fabric and lining used are 100 percent organic silk, that is ecologically dyed. She also said her dress was 100 percent organic cotton.

"24k Magic ... My Beautiful Date @Gisele. Linda Mamai," Brady wrote on Instagram, including selfie of himself with his wife in the backseat of a car.

Bundchen posted a photo with Brady on her Instagram, using a heart emoji for the caption.

"Hello everyone, we are almost arriving at the Met. Do you want to see my cute date? There he is," Bundchen said in an Instagram video. "What a cutie. Isn't he a cutie guys? Seriously."

Brady and Bundchen's Red Carpet Looks

This is far from the first time the power couple has attended the lavish event. Brady and Bundchen served as co-chairs at the 2017 Met Gala. Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams also co-hosted the festivities.

Bundchen sported a backless Stella McCartney ensemble while Brady donned a silver velvet Tom Ford suit jacket at last year's event. The couple did not attend the event in 2016 or in 2015.

In 2014, Brady and Bundchen were back in black, matching colors and smiles on the red carpet. Gisele wore a custom Balenciaga silk and velvet gown while "TB12" wore a black tuxedo with a velvet blazer. In 2013, Gisele wore a black Anthony Vaccarello number at that event, while Brady wore a bright blue sport coat with black pants.

Gisele wore a Givenchy dress while Brady had a Tom Ford suit at the 2012 Met Gala. The supermodel sported a ravishing red Alexander McQueen gown and Brady wore a black tuxedo at the 2011 event. The couple also attended the 2010 Met Gala, with Gisele wearing a tasseled Alexander Wang and Brady brandishing another black tuxedo.

Brady and Bundchen also attended the gala in 2008 and in 2009. They were wed on Feb. 26, 2009.
