Jarvis Landry: Ravens among 'at least 5' teams interested in Dolphins WR

March 5 (UPI) -- The Baltimore Ravens and Chicago Bears are among the teams interested in trading for Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry.

An unnamed source told ESPN that there are "at least" five teams interested in acquiring the three-time Pro Bowler. Landry, 25, is coming off a career year, in which he had a league-leading 112 receptions for 987 yards and a career-high nine touchdowns.

He was a second round pick by the Dolphins in the 2014 NFL Draft out of Louisiana State University, where he played alongside New York Giants star Odell Beckham Jr.

On Saturday, Landry posted a 10-minute trailer for a documentary called Juice on his social media accounts. The Dolphins placed the franchise tag on Landry in February, but he said he's "considering not playing" on it, despite it paying him more than $16 million.

"The team decides to exercise the franchise tag. I'm considering not playing on it," Landry said in the documentary clip. "The franchise tag is not a good deal for me."

"In my case, I played four years. And you get another year basically of not signing me to a long-term deal. So in that year, anything can happen. You look at guys like Ryan Shazier, who might not have opportunity to play again. He's fighting a battle to just walk again. I'm at the point where taking care of my family is the most important to me. I've put my body on the line for years. I've sacrificed my time. I've sacrificed my life to make sure that I have this opportunity."

But sources told ESPN and the NFL Network that Landry is accepting the franchise tag. A source also told NFL Network that Landry is being viewed as a No. 1 wide receiver, based on talks with other teams interested in the four-year veteran.

The Dolphins have given Landry, and his representative, permission to seek a trade, according to reports.

A league source told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel that the Dolphins offered Landry a contract averaging $13 million, annually, while Landry wants a contract similar to that of Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams. The Packers signed Adams to a four-year, $58 million contract in December. That deal included an $18 million signing bonus and $42 million over the first two years.

The new league year begins on March 14, with free agency kicking off at 4 p.m.
