Report: Jaguars pick up option on TE Lewis

The Jacksonville Jaguars picked up the option on tight end Marcedes Lewis, according to a published report Tuesday.

The Florida Times-Union reported that the Jaguars' move will keep Lewis with the team for a 13th season, making him the longest tenured player on the club.

Lewis, who will receive $3.5 million this season, reeled in 24 receptions for 318 yards and five touchdowns in 2017. He also had four catches for 21 yards and a score in the playoffs.

The 33-year-old has 375 receptions for 4,502 yards with 33 touchdowns in 170 career games since being selected by Jacksonville with the 28th overall pick of the 2006 NFL Draft.
