The Carolina Panthers hired Drew Terrell as an offensive quality control coach, the team announced Wednesday.

Terrell has spent the past three seasons at the University of Michigan as an offensive graduate assistant coach. He worked with wide receivers and returners in his first two seasons and cornerbacks and returners in his final campaign.

Last season, Terrell worked with Scott Turner, who is coming to Carolina to coach quarterbacks while his father Norv serves as the offensive coordinator.

Terrell began his coaching career as an offensive graduate assistant at Virginia Tech in 2014.
