Top overall pick Jared Goff has been tabbed as the Los Angeles Rams' starting quarterback for Sunday's game versus the visiting Miami Dolphins, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported on Tuesday.

Coach Jeff Fisher reportedly met with the 22-year-old Goff and fellow quarterback Case Keenum on Tuesday morning to inform them of the move.

Los Angeles is looking for a spark after seeing its offense held without a touchdown for the third straight game in Sunday's 9-6 victory over the New York Jets. The Rams (4-5) rank last in scoring (15.4 points per game) and 31st in total offense (308.0 per contest).

Los Angeles traded a bevy of draft picks to the Tennessee Titans in the spring for the right to draft Goff with the top pick.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Goff started three straight years at California, where he complied the most completions, passing yards and touchdowns of any quarterback in school history. He finished his career with 4,719 yards and 43 touchdowns in 2015 and owns 26 school records.

Goff struggled during the preseason, however, completing only 22 of 49 passes for 232 yards with two touchdowns, two fumbles and four sacks.

Keenum went 17 of 30 for 165 yards and rushed five times for 11 yards on Sunday. The 28-year-old has completed 191 of 313 passes for 2,169 yards with nine touchdowns and 11 interceptions this season.
