BOSTON, March 31 (UPI) -- Calling all New England Patriots wide receivers: Tom Brady is ready to dominate in 2016.
The quarterback imitated Anchorman character Ron Burgundy Thursday in a Facebook post, saying: "New England Patriots RECEIVERS... ASSEMBLE!!!"
Brady, 38, is currently enjoying an offseason vacation with wife Gisele Bundchen. The Patriots pass-catching corps will look a little different next season, with the departure of Brandon LaFell and arrival of Martellus Bennett.
But one of Brady's constants, Julian Edelman, responded to the gunslinger's message in short time.
"Tom Brady ...10-4," Edelman wrote of Facebook just two hours after the original post.
Current Patriots receivers include: Edelman, Danny Amendola, DeAndre Carter, Aaron Dobson, Chris Harper, Chris Hogan, Keshawn Martin, Matthew Slater, and Nate Washington.
Brady, a two-time first-team All Pro, completed 402-of-624 passes for 4,770 yards and a league-high 36 touchdowns last season.
