LeBron looks out for his daughter! #ThisIsWhyWePlay pic.twitter.com/P0ZjGSU2l4
Dec. 22 (UPI) -- It doesn't matter if the world knows LeBron James as a four-time MVP and three-time champion, he's just 'dad' to daughter Zhuri.
That was very evident on Thursday night at Quicken Loans arena, during the Cleveland Cavaliers 115-112 win against the Chicago Bulls.
During a break in the action, cameras caught James talking to the crowd. Luckily, the King was mic'd up.
"Hi Momma," James said. "You want candy?
The best basketball player on the planet then walked around asking Cavaliers team staff if they were carrying candy.
"...You got candy on you? You got candy on you? Give that to my daughter," James said.
James' 3-year-old daughter quickly snatched the sweet treat.
"You're welcome," James said. "You're welcome"
James, 32, also has two sons: Byrce Maximus and LeBron James Jr. But the candy request wasn't the only brilliant moment from LeBron's first mic'd up game.

James scored a game-high 34 points and had nine assists, six rebounds and three steals in the win. It was Cleveland's 12th consecutive home victory. Chicago suffered its first loss since Dec. 6.
During one sequence, Bulls guard Kris Dunn was guarding James in the post. He bodied up the smaller guard, before spinning away and draining a fade away jump shot.
"It don't matter. It don't matter," James said.
The Cavaliers face the Golden State Warriors at 3 p.m. on Christmas day at Oracle Arena.
