June 5 (UPI) -- NBA superstar LeBron James did not go to the podium following the Cleveland Cavaliers' Game 2 loss in the NBA Finals. He also balked at a question in the locker room.

James scored 29 points and had 14 assists and 11 rebounds in the 132-113 setback to the Golden State Warriors.

Following the loss, the NBA announced that James would not be traveling to the postgame podium to confront the media. ESPN reported that James' decision was related to him being "frustrated at how the press conference schedules been run" and had nothing to do with the result of the contest. Another ESPN report stated that James was frustrated with having to wait to talk at the podium.

But the frustration didn't end there.

When reporters congregated around the superstar by his locker, James was in no mood to answer at least one question.

"LeBron, do you feel this a case where you guys need to defend home court at this point," a reporter asked.

James responded with another question, saying: "Well, are you a smart guy?"

"I think so," the reporter responded.

James replied: "You think so, right? So we don't defend homecourt, what happens?"

"Yeah, I know. That's what I'm saying," the reporter explained.

"I'm asking you," James replied.

"Then you guys are looking at getting swept," the reporter replied.

"Alright, so that answers you question," James said.

The Cavaliers trail 2-0 in the series and play the next two games at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

Game 3 is set for 9 p.m. on Wednesday, while Game 4 is scheduled for 9 p.m. on Friday.

For those scoring at home, if the Cavaliers lose the next two games in Cleveland, the series is over.

James had an equally entertaining answer to the next question Sunday, when a reporter asked James if he needed any IVs Sunday night.

"Nah, I'm good," James said. "Just need some food and some wine and I'll be alright."

A LeBron James led team has only been swept in the playoffs once. That happened in the 2007 NBA Finals when the San Antonio Spurs knocked out the Cavaliers in four games. The Spurs also had home court advantage in that series.
