Blood spilled in fan fight at Washington Wizards, Boston Celtics game

May 16 (UPI) -- The Boston Celtics took care of the Washington Wizards in Game 7 of an Eastern Conference Semifinals playoff series Monday while fans were fighting in the stands of TD Garden.

Boston's 115-105 victory sets up an Eastern Conference Finals matchup against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Several fans had cellphones out to document what was happening in the seats of the area.

One of the videos showed a Wizards fan wearing a John Wall jersey. The fan punches a Celtics fan in the face and pushes him down. Then another Celtics fan comes up and hits the Wizards fan in the side of the head. Security intervenes shortly after the fight.

Photos posted after the incident showed a large amount of blood on the concrete floor between the seats.

Isaiah Thomas scored a team-high 29 points for the Celtics, while Bradley Beal put in 38 points for the Wizards in the series finale. Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals tips off at 8:30 p.m. at TD Garden. The Cavaliers have won three of its four matchups against this season against the Celtics.
