Watch: Shaq lets son Shareef dunk in his face

LOS ANGELES, July 13 (UPI) -- Not many dared dunk on Shaquille O'Neal in his prime, but those days are long gone.

Now "The Diesel" is letting his highly recruited son dunk over him.

Shareef O'Neal posted a video to Twitter Tuesday, explaining that the dunks were his dad's idea of practice.

"My dad teaching me how to dunk through contact," Shareef said.

Shareef has a rating of 88 from ESPN and is ranked No. 51 in the ESPN 60 for 2018. The 6-foot-8 power forward is a four star recruit out of Crossroads School.

Last year, O'Neal told Scout.com he had offers from Baylor, LSU, UCLA, USC, and Kansas State. He also has offers from Arizona, California, and Washington State.

Shaq has maintained that he wants his son to play for Michigan State, Kentucky, or his Alma Mater, LSU.
