The Woods-hosted tournament will be held from Feb. 15 through 18 at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades. Calif., near Los Angeles. He tied for 45th at the tournament in 2023.

Woods, 48, hasn't played on the PGA Tour since the 2023 Hero World Challenge in December. He appeared in two additional events last season, first in February at the Genesis Invitational and in April at the Masters.

Woods withdrew from the 2023 Masters because he aggravated his plantar fasciitis. He underwent surgery on his right ankle two weeks later.

The 15-time major champion's debut at the Genesis will also mark his first appearance since he ended his 27-year partnership with Nike in January.
