Dana White hires Kendrick Lamar, buys BMW for son's 16th birthday

June 12 (UPI) -- UFC boss Dana White gifted his son a Kendrick Lamar performance this weekend for his 16th birthday.

The MMA league president splurged on a party and a new car for Dana White III.

"Happy 16th @danaiiiwhite WE LOVE U SO MUCH!!!!! @taylorhagans co pilot," White wrote on Instagram in a message to his son.

The message posted Saturday included a photo of his son standing next to a brand new, white BMW.

On Sunday, White took to social media to post a photo from his son's party, featuring rapper Kendrick Lamar on stage in front of a crowd.

About 300 guests attended the party at Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas, according to TMZ Sports. UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley posted several videos of the Lamar performance on his Instagram account.

The party also featured a photo booth.

White, 47, has three children and lives in Laguna, Calif. He is worth about $500 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Ultimate Fighting Championship debuted in 1993. It was sold in 2016 to William Morris Endeavor for $4 billion. Casino executives Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta bought UFC for $2 million in 2001, the same year White began his tenure as president.
