Ronda Rousey's dog hates her cardboard cutout, space shoes

June 6 (UPI) -- Former UFC superstar Ronda Rousey teased her dog Mochi recently by chasing it with a cardboard cutout of herself.

Rousey posted a video of the experience on Sunday.

"How to confuse your dog," she wrote on the caption on social media. "And yes, I am rockin Ripley's @reebok Alien stompers."

In the video, Rousey stands in a driveway and shows the cutout to Mochi. The cutout features an old photo of Rousey wearing her bantamweight title belt. The dog immediately starts barking as Rousey pursues it to the end of the driveway. She eventually apologizes to her neighbors for the jawing.

Ellen Ripley's Aliens space shoes were released in April. The limited release only featured men's sizes. The shoes are exact replicas of the ones Sigourney Weaver wore, staring as Ripley, in the 1986 fantasy/thriller film. All 426 pairs of the shoes were sold out immediately. They were on sale for about $175.

The former UFC star has stayed active on social media despite her hiatus from competition. Her Instagram feed shows multiple photos of her family pets.

Rousey hasn't had a fight in UFC since December when she lost to Amanda Nunes in UFC 2017. She has since stepped away from the sport to focus on show business.

Rousey got engaged to fellow UFC fighter Travis Browne in April.
