Washington Wizards guard John Wall was fined $25,000 by the NBA on Wednesday for inappropriate interaction with an official and failing to leave the court in a timely manner following an ejection.

Wall bumped official Marc Davis with 33.3 seconds remaining in Monday's 114-106 loss to the Houston Rockets. The 26-year-old Wall was whistled for his second technical foul, resulting in an automatic ejection.

Davis said he told Wall to "watch himself" and that the former top overall pick responded with "vulgarity and inappropriate language."

Wall is averaging 21.8 points, 9.6 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game this season.
