Four teams apparently are showing interest in signing six-time NBA All-Star Pau Gasol.
ESPN reported Sunday that the Portland Trail Blazers are trying to land the 36-year-old veteran along with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Toronto Raptors and San Antonio Spurs.
The Trail Blazers, according to ESPN, have a two-year deal for approximately $40 million on the table.
Gasol has played for the Chicago Bulls the past two seasons after a long stint with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Spurs' interest in Gasol apparently would increase if they do not land free agent forward Kevin Durant. It's unclear, though, whether or not Gasol will wait for Durant to make a decision on his future.
Going to the Timberwolves would reunite Gasol with former Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau, who recently took the Minnesota job.
Gasol's market value appears to be between $18 million and $22 million in annual salary, according to ESPN.
This past season, Gasol averaged 16.5 points and 11 rebounds per game for the Bulls.
