Guard Jamal Crawford, who won his third NBA Sixth Man of the Year award last season, agreed to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.

The 36-year-old free agent landed a three-year, $42 million deal, multiple media outlets reported.

Crawford looked to other teams after he was unhappy about the Clippers' original offer of one year and $12 million, the Los Angeles Times reported. However, the Clippers ultimately were able to retain another key reserve.

On Saturday, the Clippers gave backup guard Austin Rivers a three-year, $35.7 million deal, and they retained swingman Wesley Johnson for three years and $18 million.

Los Angeles lost two reserves this weekend, though, as backup center Cole Aldrich agreed to a three-year, $22 million deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves, while forward Jeff Green landed a one-year, $15 million contract with the Orlando Magic.

Crawford appeared in 79 games last season, 74 of them off the bench, and he averaged 14.2 points, 2.3 assists and 1.8 rebounds.

In a 16-year career that has included stops with the Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, Atlanta Hawks and Portland Trail Blazers, Crawford averaged a career-high 20.6 points for New York in 2007-08. He was a first-round pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers (eighth overall) out of Michigan in 2000.
