Los Angeles Angels sign RHP Kyle Kendrick to minor league deal

The Los Angeles Angels and right-hander Kyle Kendrick agreed to a minor league deal, according to reports Wednesday.

Kendrick, a 31-year-old free agent, signed a minor league contract with the Atlanta Braves but was released on March 12 after giving up nine earned runs on 14 hits and three walks in 3 2/3 innings this spring.

Kendrick has a lifetime record of 81-81 and an ERA of 4.63 in 253 games (212 starts). In 2015, he was 7-13 with a 6.32 ERA over 142 1/3 innings in 27 starts for the Colorado Rockies.
