Brazilian lightweight Rafael dos Anjos suffered a broken foot and has withdrawn from next week's UFC 196 main event fight against Conor McGregor.
Multiple reports said dos Anjos suffered the injury late last week. UFC officials are working to find someone to step in and fight McGregor. No decision has been made if McGregor will even be on the card, which also includes a bantamweight title bout between champion Holly Holm and challenger Miesha Tate.
McGregor was poised to make UFC history by holding two belts at one time if he overcame Dos Anjos.
This is the fourth time in the Irish champion's eight fights that his original opponent was forced to pull out of their fight.
