Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson missed practice again on Thursday but insists he will be ready for Sunday's NFC playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Peterson sat out consecutive days of practice due to lower-back soreness. He suffered the injury in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Green Bay Packers.

"I'm good. Feeling good," Peterson told reporters. "Was able to rest the body. I'll be ready to roll on Sunday."

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer maintains he's not the least bit concerned about Peterson.

"He's ready," Zimmer said. "He'll be fine. He's feeling much, much better."

Peterson had just 18 yards on eight carries when Minnesota lost to the Seahawks 38-7 last month.
