Reigning NBA Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry might miss the Golden State Warriors' next two games due to a lower left leg injury.

The guard is considered questionable for the Warriors' Wednesday game in Dallas against the Mavericks, and his status for the Thursday game in Houston against the Rockets is uncertain.

"There's a chance that he won't play in one or both (games)," interim coach Luke Walton said Tuesday. "That's probably going to be a game-time decision or at least determined on how he's feeling tomorrow."

ESPN reported that Curry sustained the injury on Monday during Golden State's 122-103 win over the Sacramento Kings -- a game in which Curry recorded his sixth career triple-double. He finished with 23 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists.

Last week, Curry played through a strained right calf, helping the Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in an NBA Finals rematch on Christmas Day.

Curry is averaging 30.5 points per game, tops in the league, while helping the Warriors (29-1) surge to the best 30-game start in league history.

NBA.com reported that Warriors forward Harrison Barnes, out since Nov. 27 due to a sprained left ankle, didn't make the trip to Dallas. The team expressed some optimism in recent days that Barnes could return this week.
