MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- He's not suspended, but Adrian Peterson is indefinitely banned from practices, team activities and playing on Sundays after the Vikings placed the running back on the Exempt/Commissioner's Permission list until his ongoing child-abuse allegations are resolved.
The Vikings deactivated Peterson after a Texas grand jury indicted Peterson for beating his 4-year-old son with tree branch, but reinstated the running back on Monday, saying, "this is a matter of due process and we should allow the legal system to proceed."
