Dallas Stars hold on to defeat Winnipeg

Tyler Seguin's power-play goal in the second period proved to be the game-winner as the Dallas Stars held on to defeat the Winnipeg Jets, 2-1, on Monday.

Tyler Seguin's power-play goal in the second period proved to be the game-winner as the Dallas Stars held on to defeat the Winnipeg Jets, 2-1, on Monday.

Ray Whitney also scored on the power play and Jamie Benn supplied two assists in the Stars' second straight win. Kari Lehtonen turned aside 32-of-33 shots in the win.

Bryan Little contributed Winnipeg's lone goal on the power play. Al Montoya made 25 saves for the Jets, who have dropped three of their last four.
