Toronto shuts out Tampa Bay

Brett Lawrie hit a solo homer and knocked in three runs to lift the Toronto Blue Jays over the Tampa Bay Rays, 5-0, in spring training action.

Colby Rasmus drove in a run for the Blue Jays, who saw starter Aaron Sanchez give up three hits over 5 1/3 innings.

Tampa Bay starter Erik Bedard allowed four runs on eight hits over 5 2/3 innings.
