Port Charlotte, Fla. (SportsNetwork.com) - David Price struck out eight over five innings as the Tampa Bay Rays thumped the Minnesota Twins 7-1 at Charlotte Sports Park.

Price started and got the win, allowing one run on three hits. He walked one.

James Looney and David DeJesus each had two hits and an RBI for the Rays.

Ricky Nolasco started for the Twins and allowed two runs on four hits in four innings.

Jason Kubel accounted for the only run for the Twins, smacking his first homer of the spring in the second inning.
