NBA: New York 117, Denver 90

NEW YORK, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony poured in 31 points Friday, helping the New York Knicks get back on the winning track with a 117-90 drubbing of Denver.

Amar'e Stoudemire added 17 points and eight rebounds for the Knicks, who scored 67 points in the second half to turn a close game into a rout and snap a three-game losing streak.

Jeremy Tyler netted 12 points to go with 11 rebounds and J.R. Smith put in 13 points for New York.

Ty Lawson provided 24 points and seven assists for the Nuggets, who fell for the first time in three games.

Wilson Chandler contributed 17 points and seven rebounds.
