NBA: Indiana 97, Brooklyn 96

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Indiana's Roy Hibbert and Paul George each scored 20 points Saturday, putting the Pacers back on the winning track with a 97-96 decision over Brooklyn.

David West and Lance Stephenson combined for 31 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists for the Pacers, who bounced back two days after suffering their second home loss of the season, 102-94 to Phoenix.

Indiana broke open a 76-76 tie early in the fourth quarter, scoring seven straight points to put the game away despite committing a season-high 24 turnovers.

Paul Pierce missed a potential score-tying 3-pointer in the closing seconds.

Shaun Livingston led Brooklyn with 24 points.
