NBA: Washington 113, Brooklyn 107

NEW YORK, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- John Wall scored 21 points and was one of seven Washington players in double figures Wednesday, leading the Wizards to a 113-107 win over Brooklyn.

Washington has won two in a row after losing four straight. The Wizards made 12-of-20 from 3-point range to help offset Brooklyn's 52-percent shooting performance.

Nene, who had missed four games with an Achilles injury, came off the bench to score 17 points. Trevor Ariza and Bradley Beal both had 15 points for the Wizards, who won the rebounding battle 51-31.

The Nets were unable to ride the momentum from their 36-point win over Philadelphia on Monday. Paul Pierce scored 27 points for Brooklyn while hitting 10-of-12 from the field.
