NBA: Houston 116, Golden State 112

OAKLAND, Calif., Dec. 14 (UPI) -- James Harden's 26 points and nine assists Friday led the Houston Rockets past the Golden State Warriors 116-112.

Dwight Howard went 7-for-7 on foul shots and totaled 18 points and 11 boards for the Rockets, who won three of their last four tilts. Chandler Parsons contributed 23 points in the win, and the team shot 12-of-29 from beyond the arc.

David Lee had 23 points and 10 rebounds, and Stephen Curry tallied 20 points and nine assists for Golden State.

The game was tied at 98-98 with 3:18 remaining, but Houston went on a 9-2 tear to stay in front and seal the victory.
