NHL: New Jersey 5, Nashville 0

NEWARK, N.J., Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Martin Brodeur recorded his 123rd career shutout Sunday, backstopping the New Jersey Devils to a 5-0 whitewash of Nashville.

Brodeur needed to make only 15 saves en route to his second shutout of the season as the Devils won for the second time in three games.

Jaromir Jagr and Marek Zidlicky each provided a goal and an assist. Cam Janssen, Travis Zajac and Mattias Tedenby also scored for New Jersey, which killed off all six Nashville power plays.

Carter Hutton made 18 saves for the Predators, who fell to 2-2-1 on a seven-game road trip.
