Radwanska breezes into quarterfinals

STANFORD, Calif., July 25 (UPI) -- No. 1 seed Agnieszka Radwanska breezed into the quarterfinals Wednesday with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Francesca Schiavone at the Bank of the West Classic.

Radwanska, ranked fourth in the world and the winner of two titles this season, disposed of Schiavone 6-4, 6-3.

Varvara Lepchenko will meet Radwanska in the quarterfinals after downing Tamira Paszek 6-4, 6-4.

The only other match played Wednesday saw Sorana Cirstea defeat Coco Vandeweghe 6-3, 6-3. Cirstea will face Olga Govortsova, who Tuesday eliminated second-seeded Samantha Stosur.
