Kyle Busch wins pole at Daytona

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., July 5 (UPI) -- Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth led qualifying for the Coke Zero 400 Friday, giving Joe Gibbs Racing both spots on the front row.

Busch won the pole with a qualifying lap of 193.723 miles per hour at Daytona International Speedway. It was his third pole of the season and the 13th of his Sprint Cup series career.

Kenseth turned in a lap of 193.299 mph. Clint Bowyer, Kasey Kahne and Martin Truex Jr. finished out the first five qualifiers.

Danica Patrick qualified 11th, her best showing since she won the pole for the Daytona 500 at the start of the Sprint Cup season.

The race will be run Saturday night.
