MONTREAL, April 20 (UPI) -- Alex Ovechkin and Troy Brouwer each scored twice Saturday and the Washington Capitals continued their hot April with a 5-1 pasting of Montreal.
Ovechkin's tallies were his league-leading 29th and 30th of the season and the Capitals superstar also added an assist.

Nicklas Backstrom provided a goal and an assist as the Southeast Division-leading Capitals reeled off their ninth win in 10 games. Mike Ribeiro distributed three assists and Mike Green helped out on two goals.
Braden Holtby turned aside 35-of-36 shots to record the win.
Max Pacioretty scored and Carey Price was lit up for five tallies on 25 shots for the Northeast Division-leading Canadiens, who fell to 2-5-0 in their last seven games.
