NBA: Miami 109, Boston 101

MIAMI, April 12 (UPI) -- LeBron James led a return to the lineup of Miami's top three players Friday and the Heat celebrated by fighting off Boston 109-101.

James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh all had missed Miami's previous contest and they had been out of action for varying lengths of time this month with a variety of ailments and injuries.

With the playoffs approaching, the three stars returned to extend Miami's single-season record for victories to 63.

James scored 20 points to go with nine assists and six rebounds. Bosh contributed 17 points and Wade had 11. Rashard Lewis scored 19 for Miami, which shot 53 percent from the field.

Boston, headed for a seventh-place finish in the Eastern Conference and a first-round playoff meeting with New York, came up with 25 points from Jeff Green. Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett sat out the game for Boston with ankle problems.
