NBA: Miami 94, Milwaukee 83

MIAMI, April 9 (UPI) -- LeBron James put in 28 points Tuesday and the Miami Heat overcame the absences of Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh to put away Milwaukee 94-83.

James also hauled down seven rebounds and distributed seven assists while Ray Allen and Norris Cole each added 11 points off the bench for the Heat, who won even as Wade (ankle) and Bosh (knee) sat out.

Udonis Haslem helped out with 10 points and 15 rebounds as the Eastern Conference's top seed tied a 1996-97 club record by racking up a 61st win.

Milwaukee got 30 points from Brandon Jennings he didn't receive much help as the playoff-bound Bucks lost for the third time in four games.
